Sid - My One True Obsession

2photoIt would seem silly to spend all of this time describing myself, services, team and what I love, without mentioning Sid. Anyone who knows me, knows that Sid, my 6 yr old yellow lab, is my favorite living thing on the planet.  He spends his days by my side, shedding, drooling and generally looking pitiful. Unless he is in training for the "tennis ball- fetching" Olympic style games.  He takes it VERY seriously. I have had him since he was a pup, my friends surprising me one year for my birthday. I selfishly take him whenever I can where ever I travel, and he has come to love, (alright tolerate) hotels, elevators, New York city, car rides and rest stop food. He has a huge fan club, one can not help fall in love with his goofy, gentle nature.  So please allow me these photos, it would seem disrespectful if I did not pay him some sort of homage.

San Francisco/Inspiration Boot Camp

photoI think San Francisco is among the best cities in the US to visit if you are in need of being inspired. I not so long ago had a chance to visit. I happily lost (then found) myself in the diverse streets. Visiting the many hotels, neighborhoods & museums, I could not help be get swept up.

Washington, D.C.

photoI used to live in the District, so whenever I am called to work there, I jump for the opportunity. I can think of nothing better than visiting our nation's capitol. I truly loved living there and met some of the finest people a girl could ever hope to meet. This summer I worked on the first floor of a row house. The second floor soon to follow, I'll keep you posted. Here are a few pics from my project and the people and things that I love about one of my favorite cities in the world. If you have not gone, you must. This is an order.

Center For Maine Contemporary Art - Tour on the Isle of Isleboro

2photoMy friend Susan casually mentions one day, " Would you care to join me on a private tour of some private art collections? (As if this was not enough, she goes on...) The former curator of the Farnsworth museum is taking 20 people over to an island off the Mid Coast for a showing of 4 coveted collections. It's a luncheon, viewing, and Q&A with the homeowners"

Good Lord, was she kidding? I just about killed her with my hug. I could not have scripted a more ideal existence. I cried twice that day. PHENOMENAL. The homes, art, scenery and people I met all made for one of the best days I have ever had. I took only a few photos, I was like a kid in a candy store. Every time we got back off the bus I was so excited I never thought to grab my phone. But here are few from our travels...

Hidden Pond

We have happily been busy working out at Hidden Pond. A 5 star resort in Kennebunkport, Maine. It sits amidst the prettiest patch of woods and working out there just feels amazing. I was hired to style and infuse natural elements that accented the existing decor, new restaurant, outside bar, 14 new cottages and Day Spa. They also commissioned us to do the new signage. Dream Job! Working with Laura Savard, Tim Coppinger and Mother Nature on this project. How on Earth could you go wrong?
